1.Miscellaneous / Transfers
CA (Contempt Appeal) – Appeal in contempt matters.
Description: Filed when a party is dissatisfied with a contempt judgment, such as punishment or fine imposed for disobeying a court’s order.
Example: A government officer punished for ignoring a High Court stay order files a CA.
CC (Contempt Case) – Case filed for contempt of court.
Description: Used when someone deliberately disobeys or violates a court order.
Example: If a builder ignores an injunction order and continues construction, the aggrieved person can file a CC.
CC(TR) (Contempt Case Transferred) – Transferred contempt case.
Description: A contempt matter shifted from one bench or court to another due to jurisdiction or administrative reasons.
Example: A contempt case filed in a district bench is later transferred to the principal High Court bench.
TRAS (Transfer Appeal) – Appeal relating to transfer of a case.
Description: Filed when parties challenge the transfer of a case from one court to another.
Example: In a divorce dispute, the husband appeals against transfer of the case from Hyderabad to Warangal.
TRCRLP (Transfer Criminal Petition) – Criminal matter transfer petition.
Description: Filed when an accused or complainant requests that their criminal case be moved to another court.
Example: An accused seeks transfer of his trial from one magistrate’s court to another alleging bias.
TRCMA (Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Appeal) – Transfer of a civil miscellaneous appeal.
Description: Deals with shifting of an appeal filed in miscellaneous civil matters.
Example: A CMA pending in one bench is transferred to another bench for convenience.
TRCMP (Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition) – Petition for transfer of civil miscellaneous proceedings.
Description: A request to move pending civil miscellaneous matters between courts.
Example: A petition for transfer of an interim injunction application from one court to another.
TRCOS (Transfer Commercial Original Suit) – Transfer of commercial disputes.
Description: When a commercial suit filed in one court is shifted to another court/bench.
Example: A company requests transfer of a breach of contract suit to a commercial division of the High Court.
TRLGA (Transfer Land Grabbing Appeal) – Transfer of land grabbing matters.
Description: Land grabbing cases transferred between benches.

TRCRLA (Transfer Criminal Appeal) – Transfer of criminal appeals.

CS (Civil Suit) – Regular civil case.

CS(9BY1) (Civil Suit 9 by 1) – Specially marked civil suits.
Description: Specific categorization used in some High Courts for statutory or special-purpose suits.

AS (First Appeal) – Appeal against civil court judgment/decree.

CRP (Civil Revision Petition) – Correction of errors in civil orders.
Description: Used to challenge jurisdictional errors or procedural mistakes of subordinate courts.

CMA (Civil Miscellaneous Appeal) – Appeals in miscellaneous civil matters.
